Detail Basketball League (DBL) is North Alabama’s official Pro-Am, where precision meets competition. Launched in Rocket City, DBL brings together elite athletes, electric matchups, and a professional atmosphere all summer long.
Location: James Clemens High School
Dates/Times: Every Friday and Saturday
Friday - 6PM & 8:30 PM
Saturday - 3 & 5:30 PM
rules
1. Game Format
• 4 Quarters, 10 minutes each (stop clock)
• Halftime: 5 minutes
• Warm-up time: 10 minutes before game
• Overtime: 2 minutes (1st OT), then Sudden Death (1st point wins) if tied again
• Shot clock: 24 seconds
• Game ball: Wilson/NBA-size 29.5

2. Roster & Eligibility
• Max 10 players per roster
• All players must be:
• 18+ years old
• Verified as pro, semi-pro, college, or elite-level talent
• Players must sign a waiver and complete registration before first game
• No adding new players after Week 2 unless approved by league

4. Code of Conduct
• No fighting, excessive taunting, or unsportsmanlike behavior
• Technical fouls:
• 2 technicals = ejection
• 1 ejection = automatic 1-game suspension
• 2 ejections = removal from the league
• Foul limit: 6 personal fouls = disqualification
• Bench decorum must be upheld (coaches and players only on bench)

5. Referees & Officiating
• All games officiated by certified referees
• Officials have full authority over all gameplay and sportsmanship rulings
• No protests allowed once the game concludes

6. Playoffs will begin last week and half of the season

7. Game Forfeit Rules
• Teams must have at least 4 players to start a game
• 10-minute grace period after scheduled start time
• Forfeited games will count as losses (20-0 score)
